My boyfriend and I had a very special experience at Oryz Saigon, when we chose to use the 14-course set menu - a truly sophisticated and emotional culinary journey. What impressed me most was the restaurant's concept: each dish was carefully introduced, from the ingredients, how to enjoy it, to the meaning and story behind it. Each dish was beautifully presented, like a work of art. I chose kombucha, which really went well with the food, stimulating my taste buds, a must-try drink when coming to the restaurant. The staff were extremely attentive and thoughtful, always paying attention to every little detail so that customers felt the best care.I really appreciate the enthusiastic and lovely support of the staff at the restaurant - from choosing a private, cozy table corner, to creating an extremely romantic space for us.Next time I return to Vietnam, I will definitely come back to experience Oryz's new set menu. Thank you so much for contributing to creating such a beautiful memory in our love journey!
This is my first fine dining restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City. The whole experience was perfect and we loved every bit of it.We picked the 14 course. It was not too much or too little and the food was tasty af.The menu prepared by the chef was well balanced and we were intrigued with the story behind each plate and the ambiance the restaurant created around each course. Our host, Nhi, was very welcoming and she guided us on a wonderful journey. The restaurant's attention to detail was on point. It was spacious, the cutlery was beautiful and the seating was comfy. The 2 hours flew by !I for sure recommend this place.Do not forget to try the homemade Kombucha 🤤🔥
ORYZ Vol.07 Cho Lon Since I heard the name of this new set menu from ORYZ, I have been sure that this must be a super attractive set, simply because since living in Cho Lon, I have gained quite a bit of weight. And that's right, this menu from ORYZ is an experience through 5 culinary cultures of the Chinese communities in Saigon, each dish has different variations and changes, it really goes from one surprise to another, the most impressive must be "Hainanese chicken rice", "Teochew steamed fish", the way ORYZ tells the story this time must be said to be super attractive, right down to the last dish. Thank you ORYZ for creating this set menu, and now we have to wait for the new Vols of ORYZ!!
It’s a whole experience here! They are not only serving food but also stories! Wow! It’s about culture, lifestyle behind each dish. They put lots of thoughts and heart into whatever they are doing. I feel like a missing if not dine here once in life. 🙂
Incredible but lack of new flavour and texture as we moved toward the end of the dining experience. A little mistake from the restaurant when we had an empty tray of petit fours
Delicious food is not just a meal, but an unforgettable journey. Tonight's experience is like walking through the streets of Embankment, and in every dish, I can feel the chef's respect for ingredients, understanding of culture, and persistence in details. From the first bite of the appetizer, sour, sweet, fresh, and fragrant bloom on the tip of the tongue, as if drawing a map of the fusion of Vietnam and France on the taste buds; then to the main course, every bite is like whispering a fragment of the century-old story of Embankment; the elegance at the end of the dessert is more like a smile before the perfect ending.Thank you, Chef and the entire team, for letting me experience tonight that "eating" can be so layered, story-filled, and soulful. It's not just the halo of Michelin, but the seriousness that makes people admire. 🙏Fortunately, I came. Fortunately, I was able to make a reservation. Fortunately, I would like to come again. #Taste of Embankment #MichelinExperience #EveryBiteHavesStories #ThankYouForYourIntentions
I had a great experience at Oryz Saigon. The overall service was excellent—attentive, professional, and warm from start to finish. The staff went out of their way to make sure everything was just right, which really elevated the dining experience. The ambiance was stylish and welcoming, and the menu offered a nice variety of flavorful dishes. I’d definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a place with exceptional service and a refined atmosphere in Saigon.
This Cho Lon menu is really beyond my expectations, each flavor is clearly felt through the dishes. The porridge and beef noodles really conquered me, and the dessert set is also attractive. It is worth trying and looking forward to.
A very stylish Chinese restaurant in Vietnam! ️I was wandering around Ho Chi Minh City and was recommended by an acquaintance to try "ORYZ Saigon". To be honest, I was a little skeptical, thinking "Chinese in Vietnam...?", but this exceeded my expectations 😳!First of all, the atmosphere of the restaurant is great. It's a simple gray space with an open kitchen, and it feels like a high-end Japanese restaurant. The staff are also nice and explain things properly in English, so it's reassuring. The food is called "Teigan" and is a creative Chinese dish inspired by Cholon, Ho Chi Minh City's Chinatown, and each dish has a story, which is also great. The "Mango Gyoza" was especially delicious! You might think it's sweet, right? No, it's very well balanced and goes perfectly with the crab and chicken inside. The "Salted Duck Rice" was also excellent! The drinks are also tasteful, and if you order an original cocktail, it goes really well with the food. It looks great, too, so I think it's perfect for a girls' trip✨What's more, every time a dish is served, they give you something like a "passport" with the background and story of the dish written on it! It feels like you're traveling, not just eating. It made me think, "Wow, Chinese food can be so free and so beautiful?" The taste and presentation are really tasteful, and above all, you can feel the "desire to enjoy the food." I definitely want to go here again!
Wow. This place is exceptional; food, presentation and service. Very well thought out menu. Will definitely come back for the next journey.
Very impressive experience to have Chinese-Vietnamese fusion. Like the idea from the chef to re-construct the classic Chinese dishes with creative formats of cooking. The service from Dat is very appropriate and friendly. This journey also inspires my trip of next day in China town area. Hopefully there’s opportunity to come back for next seasonal menu.
The menu idea is really interesting and the dishes are so surprising. There are many dishes included in the set and u will definitely feel satisfied after finishing the whole set. The waiter NHAT who served us is really nice and professional too. I am really happy with this meal
The food is impeccable, service also really attentive by our server Nhat, if you want a great fine dining experience, 100% recommend here as a must visit place!
Best fine dining in Vietnam The congee is the best and innovative
The meals are exquisite and the ingredients are carefully processed The seasoning retains the original flavor of the ingredients to a great extent.Very professional and attentive in service The whole menu is like watching a show
The perfect combination of Vietnamese cuisine and Chinese immigrant culture. From the first dish, I loved it and could feel the dedication of the entire restaurant team. The dining pace is just right so you don’t have to eat too fast or wait too long, with each dish taking about 10 minutes to prepare. Some of the dishes are seasoned very precisely, and you can taste the original flavor of the ingredients. The flavor combination is very unique and the concept behind it is very engaging. After eating the entire set meal, you will want to learn more about the local food culture and Chinese immigration history. There are many choices of drinks, as well as non-alcoholic beverages. I highly recommend their sake pairings, which use a lot of local Vietnamese sake. Non-alcoholic kombucha is also very refreshing. In general, it is highly recommended to arrange an evening for dining.
