We came here on holiday from Australia and was looking for a nice dinner to end the trip. It was an absolute stunning experience with the current ‘Nanyang’ Menu offered by ORYZ. Without exaggeration this is the best fine dining experience I’ve had to date (across multiple countries). The chef’s excellent combinations, presented a fun alternative to traditional dishes. This is probably the only restaurant that’s gotten me excited to come back to try their future set menus (changes every 3-4 months). Lowkey a bit sad I never got to try any of the previous menus. PSA: this is a must try!!! and quite frankly if you don’t experience it for yourself- you’re missing out! We were really well looked after by our servers Quyen and Thuy. We also got the chance to have a chat with one of the co-founders of ORYZ at the end. She was super nice and told us a bit about their restaurant, concept and philosophy of the food. Very honestly, their Michelin selection and 5/5 google rating is extremely well deserved.
Dinner in the evening on 10/13 The food in the restaurant is quite delicious😋 There are many unexpected items. It is recommended that you order 15 dishes. The Vietnamese sake list and red and white wine provided are all great. I recommend that if you have time and budget, you can come and experience it in Ho Chi Minh City🎉 The service staff at BTY are so awesome and professional, and the atmosphere in the store is great. An immersive experience about Nanyang culture. This season’s theme is Nanyang. The exquisite presentation and delicate seasoning give traditional Nanyang cuisine a modern touch. We recently enjoyed a nicer dinner at Oryz. The journey through South East Asias most famous foods, with some adaptions of Oryz's Chef of course, was delicious. Thanks to Nhi and Thuy for taking very good care of us.

Our last dinner at Saigon and it was so lovely! The theme we had for our meal is ‘Nanyang’ which has a strong oriental element which I think they’re the only one in HCMC. Not only the ingredients were fantastic, the menu curation was so creative too! Our server, Thanh, is also very knowledgeable and had introduced the background of each cuisine well too. It’s especially impressive since she’s explained all this in a foreign language! Oh and I really like the tamarind sake from my wine paring so much! 100% recommend to try. 👍🏻
