Very nice ambience and incredible delicious food inspired by Vietnamese cuisine. We had an amazing experience here and loved the concept of the restaurant, which takes you through a journey of the Nothern Vietnamese cuisine (with a a little twist to it). The reinterpretation of the Vietnamese dishes were very creative and delicious without losing the Vietnamese character. We went to Oryz to celebrate a friend‘s bridal shower and at the end of the journey we received a little surprise, which was very attentive of the staff. The service was also impressive. Special thanks to Dat, who was with us for the 14 courses and kept us entertained with his humor. At times, however, the service was a little bit too fast and rushed (we were still eating when the staff wanted to clear our dishes and introduce the next course). Overall, we had an amazing experience and would definitively recommend to anyone who wants to experience Vietnamese cuisine in a fine dining setting. The portions were surprisingly big, we almost weren’t able to finish. Note: Be mindful that the prices are excl. VAT and service fees.

My partner and I had an amazing experience tonight. While Vietnam isn’t usually considered a fine-dining destination, Oryz definitely breaks that stereotype. The service, the food, and the relaxed atmosphere were all absolutely perfect. My only regret is that it’s an eight-hour flight from home 😭. Whenever we’re in Saigon we’ll be back. We might even have to make a special trip just to try the new concept store, which sounds incredibly exciting. A special shoutout to our two servers. I didn’t catch their names (one was a Kiwi) but their service was impeccable. Their explanations and friendliness really elevated the whole experience. We don’t speak Vietnamese and didn’t feel any language barrier at all, so foreigners should feel very welcome too. If you’re in Ho Chi Minh or honestly anywhere in Vietnam I highly recommend making the trip!

This is my first time leaving a review for a fine dining restaurant. If 5 is the highest score, I'd give it a 6. From the initial seating arrangement to the thoughtfully designed table cards and menu, you could feel Chef Chris's dedication and the meticulous attention to detail from everyone in the team. This time, my visit was a journey themed around Northern Vietnam. I especially recommend their sake pairings; each dish was refreshing and not cloying. Surprisingly, they even incorporated elements of Northern Vietnamese street food into their fine dining experience. I lived in Vietnam for a while before, but fine dining at that time wasn't as sophisticated as it is now. After trying ORYZ, I feel that Vietnamese culinary culture is constantly evolving. After inquiring with the restaurant, I was surprised to discover that next door is the group's largest new fine dining restaurant, Nôm Dining, which is about to open!!! 🥹 I will definitely become a regular there!!! Top notch service! Nhi was very knowledgeable about the dishes and attentive during our whole dining experience. This was a great way to experience different flavours in Vietnamese cuisine.

It fully meets the Michelin Bib Gourmand recommendation. The food and drinks are both delicious and worth visiting. The only drawback is that the price is not cheap.

I celebrated my birthday at Oryz this evening, and wow, what an experience! The attention to detail in every dish and the attentiveness of the staff were truly impressive. Their deep knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine adds an extra layer of authenticity to the meal. The entire dining experience tells a beautiful story that makes you want to explore the regions the dishes come from. Absolutely memorable experience and a must for those important occasions! We decided on a restaurant on the spur of the moment, without any research, but it was surprisingly delicious and the dining experience was fantastic. It gave us a complete taste of Vietnamese cuisine and culture. I highly recommend it. We were assigned to Nho, who taught himself Chinese and speaks it quite well. Thank you for hosting us!

We had the 12-course set menu for October 2025, tea pairing, and a couple cocktails. Our waiter was Dat, who amazingly serviced us and was attentive to our needs! All of the food had a modern and fusion take on traditional vietnamese foods, so you may find the food taste similar to what you make at home or find on the streets but elevated with more fine-dining ingredients.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated and luxurious.

Dat was an amazing server - he did an incredible job explaining all of the food, recommending amazing cocktails/tea pairings, and made sure our cups were never empty. The food was incredible and the drinks even more so. Pleasantly surprised by this location, and will definitely be back when they open their new restaurant as well! My husband and I just had a wonderful time at Oryz. We opted for the 14 course food journey. Food is wonderful with attentive service staff. If the service staff can provide more background on the ingredients that were used, it would be perfect.

My husband and I dined at this restaurant on June 13, 2025, after multiple reservation changes due to flight delays.  The staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout the rescheduling process. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and escorted to our table.  The friendly staff then presented the menu, and we opted for the 14-course meal paired with kombucha and Hakurakusei sake. Our server was exceptionally attentive and provided detailed explanations for each dish.  The pairing included four distinct varieties of kombucha and sake, complementing the main courses perfectly. The entire dining experience was delightful, with every dish being exceptionally delicious. We will undoubtedly return for another visit in the future. We extend our sincere gratitude for the outstanding hospitality, particularly to our server (whose name we unfortunately didn't catch). Thank you for giving me such an unforgettable dining experience.

I've been to many places in Korea, but this one is truly unique and delicious. It's a fusion of Northern Hanoi and Chinese cuisine. All the food tastes different from its appearance. Haha. The staff are also very friendly and attentive. You can make a reservation on the reservation page, and the two-course meal, including two drinks and VAT, came to 5.7 million VND. The price was reasonable, and it was a special experience.
