Having lived close to Chợ Lớn for years, we very much enjoyed a fine dining take on the area's cuisine. The restaurant concept of a fine dining experience that's wholly Asian rather than a French or Japanese take on Vietnamese food is excellent and well-executed, from ingredients to finished dishes to ways of eating, with each dish enjoyed differently and with appropriate utensils. The kombucha pairing menu complemented the dishes well, and our knowledgeable and helpful waiter, Đạt, helped to make it a perfect evening. We will definitely be coming back to try future menus.

Just had an absolutely phenomenal 14-course culinary experience at Oryz Saigon, and I'm still blown away by the incredible presentation and exquisite flavors! This place truly deserves a Michelin star! Every dish was a work of art, telling a story of Vietnamese-Chinese heritage.The attention to detail in both the food and the storytelling was simply outstanding. If you're in Saigon, Oryz is an absolute must-visit for an unparalleled dining experience!

Oryz Saigon -A Hidden Gem with Incredible FlavorsWe had the pleasure of dining at Oryz Saigon and it was an experience worth raving about. From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming and attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere struck the perfect balance between cozy and stylish, setting the tone for an exceptional meal. There was a small hiccup during our meal when I mentioned to the owner that the conversation between her and a guest next to our table was a bit loud. The owner received the feedback and handled it very professionally.The food—absolutely outstanding. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Even the sides and garnishes felt thoughtfully prepared and delicious.It’s rare to find a place that nails both the culinary and hospitality sides of the experience so well. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just in the mood for a great meal, I highly recommend Oryz Saigon. We’ll definitely be coming back because I still want to try their saigon menu one day.

The food is very delicious and will amaze your taste buds. The service staff has a good attitude, serves food quickly, and has a very accurate grasp of the ingredients. After the meal, the supervisor will introduce the characteristics of the entire store to you.We went to celebrate our anniversary, so in addition to the usual desserts, there were also small cakes prepared for us. In addition, if you have any food allergies, you can inform the service staff in advance, so that the occurrence of allergies can be reduced during the cooking process.The service staff said that the menu will be changed every three months

I had one of the best fine dining experience at Oryz on 3rd July. Many thanks to Do Nhu and Quyen, they are very attended to their client, very dedicate for the work. The menu is excellent from the concept to the taste, there are so many efforts have been put in this restaurant to turn it into an experience. Thank you Oryz Sai Gon, definitely will be back in the future

It was one of the most perfect experiences I will never forget in my life.I have eaten at many fine dining restaurants in my life, traveling around the world, but I think the best meal I had at Ori's Saigon in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam was the best.I would like to thank Qyunh, our server who served us on the day I visited, for her passionate explanation, service, and hard work.

The fusion food was delicious, the table decor was beautiful and eye-catching, however the 14-dish portion was a bit small for me. I was especially impressed with Chi, the staff, who was very attentive, enthusiastic and always welcoming to guests. At the end of the meal, I was given a small gift to take home.

I went there on July 1, 2025, with my friend. The experience was lovely, from the booklet introducing the meals, the pretty cutlery, the service, to the quality of the food. I particularly would like to acknowledge the staff, Anh and Dat, in this review. Their service really compliments this fine dining experience. Secondly, their wine pairing is really good. I will go buy all the wines they select for this set meal.In terms of the set up of the restaurant, just be careful when you walk around. There is some high-low difference on the floor, such as the entrance to the staircase or to the toilet. In the staircase, you need to watch your head when you go down.I would love to go back there again when they change the menu.

First of all, Dat was absolutely fantastic!!! I been to few fine dining places and Dat was the best one I ever had! So kind and knowledge! Everyone was also fantastic (also especially Phoung)! The course set was amazing (there was no bad item). You can tell each course was crafted with great thought and the taste was outstanding! Highly recommend everyone to come!

Really surprised and satisfied with the service and concept of the restaurant. I didn't think the chef and staff could come up with such delicious and unique dishes. The two staff members Phuong and Dat were very attentive and enthusiastic. Although it was fine dining, I was very full.

It was my first time dining in the restaurant, but I didn't notice that the reservation I made on Google was cancelled and the date was changed, so I thought I wouldn't be able to dine there. But the waiter found out that we were Taiwanese, so they asked us to wait a little while and they would confirm if there were any seats for us. Later, the Taiwanese boss came out to confirm the location and reservation with us, and then arranged a seat for us. The person serving us this time was Nho, who was the Chinese-speaking introduction in the restaurant, and was very considerate. Although she had a heavy Vietnamese accent, she was very careful to remember the contents and instructions of the menu. Although the theme of the menu this time was Cholon, it was mostly Chinese Cantonese cuisine, so it was very special and a very thoughtful restaurant ~ I recommend it👍

We made a random reservation from a suggestion through a local. It happened to be a one night only tasting menu of Singaporean and Malaysian cuisine intertwined with Vietnamese ingredients and inspiration. The experience was incredible. The staff were very attentive and the guest chef was an animated fun guy with a driven focus on his plates. Thanks to An Ton, Dat, Quynh, and Do Nhu for their service! Highly recommend for a top tier dinner in HCMC.

Each dish has an explanation Thank you Anton for the professional introduction, very clear The three kinds of sake with the meal are delicious, ranging from light to heavy I like their desserts, especially the golden dumplings The lotus tea is delicious and special It’s a pity that I had something to eat before going Next time I will save a whole stomach for delicious food😻

We tried the 14 courses menu and it was fantastic from the start till the end. The herbal duck soup, pork congee and jasmine tofu were exceptionally memorable. I love how they try to incorporate the distinct Chinese and Vietnamese cultures into every single dish. They are creative and every flavours just blend in perfectly. Special shoutout to the waitstaff Quynh and An Ton, they gave detailed introduction of each dishes before serving and very attentive to our needs. Definitely would recommend this restaurant if you ever have chance to come visiting Ho Chi Minh City.

Vol.7 – Cho LonWe had the 14-course experience, and it was an amazing journey. The menu was incredibly creative, with each dish beautifully plated. Every course paid homage to a familiar classic, thoughtfully reimagined through a variety of techniques. The team skillfully elevated simple ingredients into something truly special—and I mean that as high praise. Portions were generous and left us well-fed, which was something the restaurant intentionally aimed for.Service was impeccable. The staff took great care in explaining each dish—it felt like we were being guided through a culinary story.The menu rotates every three months, and we’ll definitely be back to try the next edition if we’re in Saigon.
