It fully meets the Michelin Bib Gourmand recommendation. The food and drinks are both delicious and worth visiting. The only drawback is that the price is not cheap.

Beautiful location, tasty food, great staff, friendly, professional, attentive, explaining every dish and glass of wine with passion and details. Answering any questions you had about the food and drinks. I had fun, ate well and learned a lot about Vietnam cuisine and wine. Thank you for the great time. Will definitely come back 🙂

I celebrated my birthday at Oryz this evening, and wow, what an experience! The attention to detail in every dish and the attentiveness of the staff were truly impressive. Their deep knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine adds an extra layer of authenticity to the meal. The entire dining experience tells a beautiful story that makes you want to explore the regions the dishes come from. Absolutely memorable experience and a must for those important occasions! We decided on a restaurant on the spur of the moment, without any research, but it was surprisingly delicious and the dining experience was fantastic. It gave us a complete taste of Vietnamese cuisine and culture. I highly recommend it. We were assigned to Nho, who taught himself Chinese and speaks it quite well. Thank you for hosting us!

We had the 12-course set menu for October 2025, tea pairing, and a couple cocktails. Our waiter was Dat, who amazingly serviced us and was attentive to our needs! All of the food had a modern and fusion take on traditional vietnamese foods, so you may find the food taste similar to what you make at home or find on the streets but elevated with more fine-dining ingredients.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated and luxurious.

Dat was an amazing server - he did an incredible job explaining all of the food, recommending amazing cocktails/tea pairings, and made sure our cups were never empty. The food was incredible and the drinks even more so. Pleasantly surprised by this location, and will definitely be back when they open their new restaurant as well! My husband and I just had a wonderful time at Oryz. We opted for the 14 course food journey. Food is wonderful with attentive service staff. If the service staff can provide more background on the ingredients that were used, it would be perfect.

I extend my sincere gratitude to Dat for his thorough explanations of each dish; his friendly demeanor and constant smiles significantly enhanced our dining experience. Additionally, I would like to thank Nhi for the delightful surprise and for capturing memorable photos with me. My husband and I deeply appreciate Oryz. The entire staff consistently makes us feel welcome and at home with their warm smiles and hospitality. My husband and I dined at this restaurant on June 13, 2025, after multiple reservation changes due to flight delays.  The staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout the rescheduling process. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and escorted to our table.  The friendly staff then presented the menu, and we opted for the 14-course meal paired with kombucha and Hakurakusei sake. Our server was exceptionally attentive and provided detailed explanations for each dish.  The pairing included four distinct varieties of kombucha and sake, complementing the main courses perfectly. The entire dining experience was delightful, with every dish being exceptionally delicious. We will undoubtedly return for another visit in the future. We extend our sincere gratitude for the outstanding hospitality, particularly to our server (whose name we unfortunately didn't catch). Thank you for giving me such an unforgettable dining experience.

I've been to many places in Korea, but this one is truly unique and delicious. It's a fusion of Northern Hanoi and Chinese cuisine. All the food tastes different from its appearance. Haha. The staff are also very friendly and attentive. You can make a reservation on the reservation page, and the two-course meal, including two drinks and VAT, came to 5.7 million VND. The price was reasonable, and it was a special experience.

The food is delicious, each dish is carefully introduced by the restaurant from its origin, ingredients and how to eat. My favorite dishes are bun cha and fried rice with beef and cucumber. The kombucha set recommended by the waiter is also delicious. The restaurant space is a bit small, with few corners so it is not very private. You should book a table a few days in advance because the restaurant fills up quickly.

Ha Anh’s service was exceptional, very attentive throughout service! She always ensured we did not pour the tea ourselves, watched us closely when we stopped eating to prepare us for our next course. It has been a long time since I have experienced such service, it is a joy to visit finer restaurants where they value service, something that most restaurants overlook nowadays. 🙂

Have been here several times but Oryz always has something new in enjoy! Definitely a must go in Saigon.

A great cultural journey! A great journey in this gorgeous two storey restaurant. We had the very knowledgeable sommelier Anton and the very attentive attendant Nhat. It was a great gastro experience for my wife and I. The food was all well presented. Oryz prepared a fantastic cultural experience for the customers. A passport for you as you check in all the fourteen dishes to your stomach. This is extremely helpful as it helps us understand what we are eating. It also helps us appreciate the fine history of Vietnam. Ntat was helpful in explaining all the dishes and how to enjoy them. Anton was like a history teacher and explained the origins of some food. Oryz not only served us great food but let us learn more about the country too. Thank you for the experience! To add on, it was great pleasure to know the chef + owner is from the same country too! Would recommend anyone who wants to have a gastro + cultural experience of Vietnam to come Oryz!

Wow! What an experience. The food, service, and atmosphere were all perfect. I'm impressed by the talent of the chefs. Thank you to Nhi Chi for taking such good care of us; the explanations were very clear. The owner takes the time to interact with all the customers, which is very satisfying. I will keep a lasting memory of it. Thank you.

We had a delicious northern Vietnamese course meal. I usually eat mostly southern or central Vietnamese cuisine, so this was a great experience. The course cost 2.2 million ₫ per person, and it was well worth it. We were accompanied by a personal waiter who prepared the final dishes on the spot and explained each one individually. We were also given a small menu card in Japanese, with photos, which made it easy to understand. However, the card didn't list the prices, so perhaps it's like the omakase menu in Japan? There also seems to be a separate, standard a la carte menu with listed prices. Personally, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to enjoy a leisurely meal while chatting quietly with good friends.

The food was excellent, chef has made a great fusion menu of the Vietnamese cuisine that you feel like taking on a whole journey during the meal. Staffs were nice and professional, the hospitality is well above standards
