This is my first time being here, the food and the service are just too perfect, the north Vietnam cuisine really impressed me which I have never experienced before plus the waitress whose name is Nho just try to do her best to express the original and combination about every cuisine to us in Chinese which really touches us, hope we could come back soon!

After 6 years, I visited Vietnam again and experienced no-menu cuisine for the first time. Every dish was amazing and delicious. I am very grateful to the waitress Nho. Even though Chinese is not her language, she still introduced each dish and served us very attentively. It was a great first experience and I look forward to coming again next time. 🇻🇳👍

The ambience was elegant yet cozy, creating the perfect setting for a fine dining experience. The service was also impressive; the staff were attentive and welcoming, making the evening very enjoyable. A special mention goes to Nhi Dat, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Overall, a memorable fine dining experience with great food presentation, warm hospitality, and a lovely atmosphere.

Special experience in the heart of HCMC. Authentic Vietnamese fine dining is a rare find and they did a stellar job with both the food and the service. Menu is changing quarterly, the story around the dishes is inventive and the overall ambiance is pleasant. Perfect for special occasions.

Fomo ORYZ has been around since the launch of the Vietnamese menu, but I only had a chance to visit yesterday. After eating, I took the opportunity to write a review right away because I like it so much :)))) This time's menu is inspired by Northern Vietnam, so guests will enjoy Hanoi specialties that have been elevated and transformed in the direction of fine dining. I really like it because I always wanted a restaurant with enough stature to bring Vietnamese cuisine into the fine dining class and ORYZ has done this, +1 respectI chose a set of 14 dishes, each dish was delicious, sophisticated and complete. What I like is that the chef still kept the soul of the original dish, but the way he prepared, presented and combined the ingredients made me wow continuously 🙌🏼 From the savory dishes to the desserts and drinks, everything impressed meThe staff here are extremely cute, knowledgeable about the menu and explained the dishes in great detail. I also really like the passport concept because it feels like I'm traveling to explore cuisine, not just going out to eat :))))) I'm even more impressed when I know that the chef is a foreigner but loves Vietnamese culture and cuisine. In general, from the service to the kitchen, from the drinks to the dishes, everything is great. P/s: I was too busy eating to take pictures, must try everyone 🫰🏼

Definitely an easy, highly recommended fine dining tasting menu to savour the elevated Northern Vietnamese delicacies!Ambience is just perfect, table setup feels intimate and screams “help yourself at home”, and to top it off with an exceptional service from Chi, whom served my table throughout with high professionalism and attentiveness. Exceptional service.Food is just amazing, zing, zing! We tried some local vietnamese food a few days before but the gamy flavours just get in my way to enjoy them. But, it is very different at Oryz. The balance of the flavours are all on point, a remarkable 14 course journey to savour flavours that I will carry with me on my way back home. The texture complexity and flavour intensification just made my dining an unforgettable one.The owner approached us towards the end of our journey, and she was very enthusiastic in bringing Asian twist of fine dining to Vietnam. Keep up the great quality and service! 🙂Definitely a good place to recommend for a good dining night when you are around the town.

I had an amazing dining experience here — attentive staff, a wonderful atmosphere, and, most importantly, an incredible culinary journey from start to finish. The meal not only told a coherent story of Northern Vietnamese cuisine but also beautifully highlighted its cultural values. As a Vietnamese, I know these flavors well, yet the chefs managed to present them in ways that felt both deeply familiar and strikingly new. Every dish was a creative reimagination — preserving the soul of tradition while dressing it in a fresh, modern spirit. It was a celebration of heritage told through taste, each bite a reminder of where we come from and a hint of where we can go.I can’t wait to return and experience their next menu

Super lucky to catch ORYZ’s first service after the menu update — the new season’s theme is “Children of the Red River,” centered around the culinary traditions of Northern Vietnam. It’s my first time experiencing a fine dining meal that so sincerely brings you into a cultural narrative 🥹. Although I don’t know much about Vietnamese culture, they give you a “food passport” before the meal, which explains the inspiration and background of each dish. After hearing the introductions, I genuinely wanted to go back and learn more about Vietnamese culture!I kept feeling that ORYZ’s dishes are incredibly innovative and well-integrated — you can sense the chef’s sincerity and creativity in so many little details. It’s clear they’re truly creating and expressing something, not just replicating a generic sense of “fineness.”There are two options: 12 courses for 2,080,000 VND and 14 courses for 2,280,000 VND. I originally picked the 12-course menu but halfway through, I couldn’t help upgrading to the full 14 — totally worth it.If you already love Vietnamese food, or if you’re tired of the usual Western-style fine dining, this place is absolutely worth a try.

Truly amazing experience and definitely a refreshing change to general western or omakase fine dining, praying this place gets a star one day!The staff were amazing, very attentive and friendly. There was a little power incident that happened for less than a minute and we were catered to greatly which was much appreciated, it truly makes you feel like your experience is important. My mother and I even got to speak to the co owner who gave an apology along with some small talk, she’s very kind to do so. The food as other reviews can tell you was sublime, I found one or two dishes to be a little on the saltier side but I say that very loosely as I simply tend to like more softer flavours, I still enjoyed every course regardless!Praying for a North American location In the future!
